Terminal Rummikub

Wade, Jennifer and me are engaged in a riveting game of Rummikub waiting for the check in counter to open. We got seats on the 3pm flight to Miami which cost us $5000 . Good thing I have a swamp corps credit card with some room on it! Some folks from the Barbados church were here and so the other 8 in our group went back to the hotel to sleep. We will check in the bags then go to the gate and meet them later.  We have another long layover in Miami as our flight  to Atlanta is at 10:45 tonight. Ouch! Well at least I have won two games in a row. More updates later.  Did I tell you Kim Williams has taken just under 6,000 pictures over the last two weeks and Matt our videographer got some really cool video and interviews. On to game three.  J

  2. Jeff...
Nothing...absolutely nothing, happens without reason. Having spent that last couple of weeks teaching others, God is now filling you back up with all the courage, patiences and tolerance that you will need for next year's camps. It was great having you here...I read the spyglass story this morning and also caught part of the vision and story of faith that you & the team have poured into the hearts of my children. I also had a great talk with Kyle on the spiritual lessons that he learnt. His understanding of the 'cross' and how much Jesus loves us has certainly deepened. For as log as you remain delayed on this island I pray that you will feel in a very real way, the intensity of the love & gratitude for how you have touched our children's lives....
