After being in the Chennai Camp my life has been forever changed! During this trip I've made so many new friends. My best friend was a little girl named Anupria. She had such an impact on my heart, because she told everyone during one of the kids classes that I was her best friend! The best part is that she didn't speak any English, only Tamil (the language most of the people spoke). I've also learned to be humble in heart and spirit. When you literally have to pee over a hole and eat with only your fingers you learn to embrace the culture and the people. To be humble you have to think of this culture and these people as better than you own. Lastly, I learned that in order to successfully lead you need to have the heart of Jesus. Like he shepherds his sheep with love, patience and firmness I need to do the same. This experience has greatly increased my faith in God and His Spirit. Taylor
