Stars Over the Bay of Bengal

I can't begin to describe the amazing day it has been. We had more challenges in one day than I have ever seen, crazy dancing broke out after lunch, the entire staff of Chennai church visited today, the little kids played Swamp Ball around 5pm as the entire camp cheered them on. There is a orphanage (see picture below) which is having a retreat at the same time we are so we invited the kids to play Swamp Ball while our entire camp cheered them on. They had a blast!!!!!  It was interesting to watch the girls play while dressed in their beautiful traditional outfits.   It didn't bother them one bit they played hard.

We ended the night walking down to the beach and sitting under the stars and a big round orange moon with its rays reflecting off the water listening to the sound of the waves.  We sang and talked about how God remembers us even though we are so small followed by some silent time to listen and reflect. There were tears and many conversations afterwards. Amazing.  Time is flying. Indian counselors are doing a phenomenal job as are the Americans. Time to sleep. another full day tomorrow...last one actually but we won't dwell on that. Good night.  Thanks again for all your prayers and thoughts. Jeff
