What strange feelings. Normally I would be on this tired high travelling back with the entire group talking and reeling from the week. Today I find myself in the midst several new feelings: major tired...am I allowed to use they word? Last night or should I say 5 hours ago we got 34 of us on the bus to the airport and that wasn't without a little drama as one bus didn't show up and we had to call another driver and wake him up. Aaagh! Anyway got them away and back to bed.
So now I am sitting here thinking about next week and trying to not worry that it won't be like last week, not knowing what it will be like. My head keeps telling me that this is not about me or the team but I am nervous and suddenly feel alone and afraid. Silly hey?
I told Jennifer and she in her wise self said we just need to go and worship with the church in Barbados and get hooked in and we need to rest. I am telling you so you can pray for me and the team as we go somewhere new. Pray for a calm and humble spirit. Pray for the spirit to work in a powerful way. Pray for the kids who are counseling that they will have much energy and meet the needs of the kids. Pray for the peace that passes all understanding. Pray that I can be still and know that God is God both in Jamaica and in Barbados. Thanks for listening.
You should be very, extra proud of your kids! They truly left their hearts in Jamaica and they are taking some home with them.
All my love, Jeff

Seems like there is always a little drama when traveling. Glad everyone got to the airport okay. Still praying for you guys here. I can't imagine how tired, excited, and I'm sure many other emotions all of your are feeling.... I pray you get the rest needed. And because you have expressed where you are...we are all praying for you here and Satan will not get a foothold. Safe travels to Barbados! Can't wait to hear more from you all!

Constant prayers are going up for all of you...especially right now for those of you who are traveling on to Barbados. It won't be just like Jamaica, I'm sure. Since the people and their needs will be different, so too, the experience will be different, but as always God will be working. Jeff, we can't express enough how grateful we are for you and Jen leading the charge with our kids and giving them this life-changing experience. Helping our kids get to heaven and take as many as possible with them is what it is all about!
