After spending 3 hours just checking our bags in Kingston we finally made it to the terminal for our flight to Bridgetown, Barbados. We arrived around 10 p.m. to the most humid air I've ever felt. You could feel the water in the air. We got on our bus and they drive faster here than they did in Jamaica. All of us here that were in Jamaica were expecting a hotel like the altamont but when we pulled up to the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in we were all in awe. The crystal clear ocean is 50 feet from the pool that snakes around the entire courtyard. This is the tropical beach people in Georgia dream about going to. It's unbelievably beautiful!! After unloading our bags some Scottish girls took some fancy to ya boys cam and myself in the lobby. I was getting ready to throw down some braveheart quotes after they told me I sounded like forrest gump but decided against it. Everyone got situated in their rooms then met on the beach for a long midnight swim in the crystal-clear water of the ocean. the moon and stars were brighter than I've ever seen before! So far we'be been here less than 24 hours and none of it feels real. I'm already missing the Jamaica group so much, and ill make sure to tell yall everything that happens when I get home. I'm so excited/nervous to counsel a week of camp for the kids here. I know that god will work through us in amazing ways here, and I can't wait to see what he has in store for us!! Pray that we all stay safe and that the trip goes well. Love yall!!!
